Everyday adventure.
We have made it through the hectic month of May and are ready to take summer head on. Emma, Stella and Claire all have teeth and are walking...non-stop. We have been enjoying playing outside which includes attractions such as the wadding pool, little picnic table, and sprinkler mat. Claire however prefers running around with a plastic bucket toting her toys around. Emma, well Emma she LOVES dirt. She loves holding dirt, smelling dirt and unfortunately eating dirt. Stella is a climber and enjoys climbing on the plastic car and picnic table. Another favorite of the girls is keep away, or should
I call it take away, guess it depends which end of the stick you are getting.
I call it take away, guess it depends which end of the stick you are getting.
The girls bedroom make over is complete (thanks to Emma for helping me paint the walls) and the girls have adjusted to sleeping in toddler beds. Turns out Stella prefers sleeping in a bed with one of her sisters over sleeping in her own bed, Emma like to go exploring under the beds and Claire some how makes it back to her bed 98 % of the time. It has been fun to watch the girls be able to really do their own thing now that they can walk and explore on their own.
Thank you to everyone for contributing money and prayers to my brother Tim for his battle with cancer. Right now things are going well. He is feeling as well as can be expected and started treatments. Lets all continue to pray that things keep on such a positive track.
Sorry it has been such along time since I have posted, as you can imagine things are pretty routine around here and I sometimes forget to do the extra things like blog. Have a fun and safe holiday weekend. Thank you to all of you who have served in our military!

Great Weather, Great Children

This is the latest up-to-date picture of baby Hillmann. He/she is doing great. Right now the baby is weighing in at 14 ounces and is just as active as the sisters...or at least it seems that way. Next week will be week 22, the same week at which I went into the hospital with the girls. This time however there is no signs of complications and it is looking like we will continue to have a normal pregnancy. Due date is around or near Sept. 11th.
Claire continues to be a little spit fire, that is slightly on the sassy and or demanding side. She is blazing trails now that she has mastered walking and is enjoying her new Independenc
e.
e. Stella is a very funny little peanut. This is a picture of her with a rubber fish in her mouth. She was just sitting in the bath with it in her mouth the whole time. She could be walking but just doesn't seem to be too interested as of yet, but it is not far away.

Then we come to Emma Grace and that bunny....well actually she doesn't limit herself to just one bunny, any bunny with ears will do. Lord help the poor animal if she ever gets a hold of a real bunny. She likes to hold her bunnies by the ears and suck her thumb. I think she figures the rabbit ears are concealing the fact that she is sucking her thumb. Emma is our biggest real food eater and it learning how to hold her own ground as her sister try to Strong arm her.
The girls are now sleeping in their new toddler beds that they got for their birthday and continue to sleep from 7 pm to 7 am. Alleluia! We have been taking advantage of the nice weather and spend every warm afternoon out in the back yard. The girls enjoy swinging, crunching old leaves, exploring, and tasting everything.

Special Prayers Needed

My Brother Tim, Emma's Godfather, was diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma in December of 2008. He had surgery as well as treatments but unfortunately more tumors were recently found. This time the local doctors were unable to help him and he was sent to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester MN, where he had surgery a few weeks ago. Although Tim has been blessed with health insurance he was prescribed medication that is not covered by this insurance and he will continue to face travel costs to see the doctors he needs to see. To help Tim and his wife Karman with these costs our family is doing a fundraiser through a secure website at http://www.firstgiving.com/timdsullivan any and all donations are greatly appreciated. I also believe that the most important thing we can do for Tim as he faces this battle with this aggressive type of cancer is to take it to God in prayer. Please add him, his family and the doctors that are taking care of him to your prayer lists. As you enjoy the outdoors this spring and summer please take the time each day to put on sunscreen and protect yourself from skin cancer. Thank you. Jess
Back from vacation

We just got back (a couple of weeks ago) from our first airplane vacation! We went to Arizona to visit friends and family. Grandma Sullivan came along so Josh and I were not out numbered by little girls. Everyone did great on the plane, loved swimming, and stayed on the Nebraska schedule despite spending a week in a different time zone.

What a great day!
We had a great Easter. After a wonder church breakfast and church service we took naps during which the sun decide to shine! It was WONDERFUL! Grandpa Sullivan came over to visit and play, we shook easter eggs, played in the grass and grilled out with friends. Over all a great day. Wish we could have shared it with all of you. Here are a few of our Easter pictures. Easter Blessings to you all.
The Hillmanns.
