My Brother Tim, Emma's Godfather, was diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma in December of 2008. He had surgery as well as treatments but unfortunately more tumors were recently found. This time the local doctors were unable to help him and he was sent to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester MN, where he had surgery a few weeks ago. Although Tim has been blessed with health insurance he was prescribed medication that is not covered by this insurance and he will continue to face travel costs to see the doctors he needs to see. I also believe that the most important thing we can do for Tim as he faces this battle with this aggressive type of cancer is to take it to God in prayer.
