Jack's Big Day!

Jack Andrew Hillmann was born August 27th, 2010 at 12:27 (ish) and weighed 7 pounds 4 oz! A little over 2 weeks early, but you can't blame that sweet little boy for wanting to pick his own birthday!

Counting down

The count down to baby is on! (for me at least) this picture was a few weeks ago, we are now less than a month away. Wooowooo. As neat as it is to feel the baby kicking the first few times I could do with a little less karate action in there. I am sure that the new baby will be a little active peanut that hits the floor running just like his/her sisters.

Claire is into wearing crowns these days. My favorite is when she wears them upside down like a visor. If you take it off and fix it she will take it off and put it back on how she wants. I guess it is how the cool kids are wearing their crowns these days. She also likes bracelets, headbands and necklaces. I guess she is going to be our hip and fancy trend setter!

She'd make a cute nerd don't you think?

Despite the nasty heat the girls and I made time to visit Daddy during WELS teen camp. The girls got to go in the big pool (not just the hot tub) for the first time. They loved it. All of them tried to back float and blow bubbles. We are not so good at the bubbles but Stella is an excellent one armed swimmer and they can all splash like experts.

The newest bad habit the girls have developed is to move their furniture around during nap or bedtime. We have no idea how or why they do it. Aaahahahahah!!!!! This could drive mama crazy!

At the end of the day it really is a joy to have these little snuggle bugs around and I wouldn't want it any other way!

3 new posts

Okay well if you are reading this it means you didn't give up on us despite our lack of updates. Thank you. There are 3 different posts here so keep scrolling down to see all the pictures. We have been on vacation and playing in the yard and well, all around busy. In only 9 short weeks baby Hillmann will be born! Right now baby is practicing disco moves day and night. All and all the pregnancy is going well.
Pictured above is the girls playhouse now, and then. I am guessing a lot of you have probably have heard about, Josh is pretty proud of it. Thank you to everyone who helped fix it up. Okay well like I said check out the 2 earlier posts here because I couldn't figure out how to fit so many pictures into the same blog.

A few Vacation Pictures

We recently went on family vacation, the girls had a lot of firsts. They went to their first Brewers game, Bay Beach where they rode the rides and to visit the Ragnar Holsteins where they pet a calf.

Happy 4th of July from our Little Stars and Stripes!

Have a safe and Happy 4th! Love the Hillmanns

Everyday adventure.

We have made it through the hectic month of May and are ready to take summer head on. Emma, Stella and Claire all have teeth and are walking...non-stop. We have been enjoying playing outside which includes attractions such as the wadding pool, little picnic table, and sprinkler mat. Claire however prefers running around with a plastic bucket toting her toys around. Emma, well Emma she LOVES dirt. She loves holding dirt, smelling dirt and unfortunately eating dirt. Stella is a climber and enjoys climbing on the plastic car and picnic table. Another favorite of the girls is keep away, or should I call it take away, guess it depends which end of the stick you are getting.

The girls bedroom make over is complete (thanks to Emma for helping me paint the walls) and the girls have adjusted to sleeping in toddler beds. Turns out Stella prefers sleeping in a bed with one of her sisters over sleeping in her own bed, Emma like to go exploring under the beds and Claire some how makes it back to her bed 98 % of the time. It has been fun to watch the girls be able to really do their own thing now that they can walk and explore on their own.

Thank you to everyone for contributing money and prayers to my brother Tim for his battle with cancer. Right now things are going well. He is feeling as well as can be expected and started treatments. Lets all continue to pray that things keep on such a positive track.

Sorry it has been such along time since I have posted, as you can imagine things are pretty routine around here and I sometimes forget to do the extra things like blog. Have a fun and safe holiday weekend. Thank you to all of you who have served in our military!

Great Weather, Great Children

This is the latest up-to-date picture of baby Hillmann. He/she is doing great. Right now the baby is weighing in at 14 ounces and is just as active as the sisters...or at least it seems that way. Next week will be week 22, the same week at which I went into the hospital with the girls. This time however there is no signs of complications and it is looking like we will continue to have a normal pregnancy. Due date is around or near Sept. 11th.

Claire continues to be a little spit fire, that is slightly on the sassy and or demanding side. She is blazing trails now that she has mastered walking and is enjoying her new Independence.

Stella is a very funny little peanut. This is a picture of her with a rubber fish in her mouth. She was just sitting in the bath with it in her mouth the whole time. She could be walking but just doesn't seem to be too interested as of yet, but it is not far away.

Then we come to Emma Grace and that bunny....well actually she doesn't limit herself to just one bunny, any bunny with ears will do. Lord help the poor animal if she ever gets a hold of a real bunny. She likes to hold her bunnies by the ears and suck her thumb. I think she figures the rabbit ears are concealing the fact that she is sucking her thumb. Emma is our biggest real food eater and it learning how to hold her own ground as her sister try to Strong arm her.

The girls are now sleeping in their new toddler beds that they got for their birthday and continue to sleep from 7 pm to 7 am. Alleluia! We have been taking advantage of the nice weather and spend every warm afternoon out in the back yard. The girls enjoy swinging, crunching old leaves, exploring, and tasting everything.
